The Stanislaus River Restoration Plan Information Site
The
Lower Stanislaus River Restoration Plan
The California Rivers
Restoration Fund, in partnership with Carl Mesick Consultants
and S.P. Cramer and Associates, have developed this initial plan
on behalf of the Stanislaus River Fish Group (SRFG).
This plan is an initial working
document that will be revised on a monthly basis. This page has
been created so that the general public, regulatory agencies,
and all other stakeholders will be able to view and make comments
on the plan. You may read the document on-line, or you can download
the entire document as an MS
Word document or Adobe
Acrobat Reader file. If you are unable to read Acrobat files,
scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "Get Acrobat
Reader" icon to download a free copy online. You may send
any comments or additions to the plan to the project coordinator
Carl Mesick, by clicking
here. All comments will be reviewed and considered in the
final document.
It is everyone's goal to create
the most comprehensive restoration plan possible. We want this
plan to truly reflect the concerns and ideas of all interested
parties. We feel that public knowledge and feedback is a crucial
step to this proses. If you are a fisherman, boater, farmer, resident
or just someone who is interested in the health of the lower Stanislaus
River, please take the time to review the plan and send you comments
to us.
Because of the size of this file,
we have divided each chapter into sections found on the links
below. You may view each section that may be of interest to you,
separate from the main document, or read the entire document all
at once. You may also download the plan using either as a Adobe
Acrobat Reader file, or as a MS
Word document.
(*Please
Note: This copy of the Stanislaus River Restoration Plan, is an
initial working document posted here for review and
comment. Currently, the opinions expressed herein, are solely
those of the California Rivers Restoration Fund biologist Dr.
Carl Mesick and it's Executive Director Steve B Walser. It does
not necessarily state the opinion of the SRFG, Local or Federal
Regulatory Agencies, Irrigation Districts, or any other stakeholder.
In time, this plan will be finalized to include comments and additions
of all the above mentioned parties.)
